This initiative provides support for essential needs to individuals or families encountering emergencies, especially those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Services offered, subject to available resources, include emergency assistance for rent payments, local and long-distance transit fares, help with prescription costs, clothing, utility assistance, and information and referral services.
