Domestic Violence Crisis & Prevention Services - Ywca Of Genesee County

This program provides a 24-hour hotline and support for filing family offense petitions to secure orders of protection, as well as assistance with custody and support petitions. It includes personal advocacy, safety planning, support groups, individual counseling, and referrals to community resources, along with accompaniment to court, law enforcement, and hospitals. The service also features a safe house for temporary shelter for those facing domestic violence and rapid rehousing options. Spanish-speaking case managers are available, and Language Line is offered for non-English speaking survivors.

Intake Procedure: Individuals can walk in or call. For the Safe House Temporary Shelter, an appointment with the Domestic Violence Residential Case Manager is required.

Fees: All services are provided at no cost.
