Outpatient Clinic - Genesee County Mental Health Services

The program provides outpatient mental health services for individuals aged 5 and above, emphasizing family systems in treatments for children and adolescents. It addresses concerns such as Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and parent-child relationships. Adult treatment is available for a range of psychiatric and psychological issues, including Depression, Anxiety, Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, and thought disturbances like hallucinations and delusions. Additionally, it can help with challenges related to family violence, sexual abuse, and strained interpersonal relationships. The clinical team consists of mental health professionals with Master's degrees, Community Mental Health Nurses, and access to psychologists and psychiatrists. Various treatment methods are employed, including psychiatric evaluations, individual therapy, couples and family therapy, group therapy, psychological assessments, and medication management, all overseen by a psychiatrist.
