55 & Over Single-Site Supportive Housing - La Rosa Villas

The building consists of 60 units, of which 20 are allocated for the Supportive Housing Program. It offers long-term or permanent accommodations for residents aged 55 and older, allowing them to access necessary support services for successful community living. Services include identifying gaps in services, connecting residents to community resources, and assisting with independence through the development of housing support plans. Rent covers heat, air conditioning, hot water, and electricity, and all 20 units come fully furnished with essential items like linens, dishes, silverware, and cookware. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen featuring a stove, refrigerator, and microwave, as well as a wall-mounted flat screen TV with basic cable and in-unit storage. Tenants can use on-site laundry facilities at no extra cost and have access to a community room, lounges, and a computer lab, with complimentary Wi-Fi available in shared areas. The buildings maintain a 100 percent smoke-free environment, with designated outdoor smoking areas. Off-street parking is also available. Each tenant is assigned a housing specialist to help with community linkages, advocacy, and apartment maintenance guidance, with specialists present Monday through Friday during business hours. Security staff will be on duty during overnight and weekend hours. Tenants must possess significant independent living skills to manage their apartments effectively.
