About this resource
This initiative provides a safe and secure temporary shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. It offers assistance with essentials like food, clothing, and personal items, along with supportive services such as counseling, support groups, advocacy, transportation, and help with New York State Crime Victim Board claims. Clients receive education on relevant New York State laws, including custody issues, criminal charges, and protection orders, and staff members provide guidance on the judicial process and accompany clients to legal and court appointments. The duration of stay at the shelter is capped at 90 days.

Fees: There are no charges for services.
