About this resource
This service provides vital support and direction to individuals with disabilities, ensuring that their preferences for independent living are upheld. Advocates are available to respond to inquiries and assist with applications for Social Security Disability, SSI, Temporary Assistance, HEAP, Medicaid, Food Stamps, and housing. They also help clients understand sanctions and navigate the process for Fair Hearings. Additional services include Peer Mentoring, Information and Referral, Independent Living Skills, Disability Awareness Education, and Transitional Services.

Fees: There are no charges for these services.
