This program assists low-income individuals in applying for financial support via the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), which provides several benefit options. The Regular Benefit aids with heating expenses, while the Emergency Benefit is designed for those experiencing a heating or heat-related energy crisis.
Intake Procedure: Appointments are required; walk-ins are not permitted. Please call to schedule.
Fees: Services are provided at no cost.
Who can use this
- Applicants must belong to DHS Team 41 (Community SNAP) and can call for further details. For cooling assistance, eligibility for HEAP is required, along with having at least one family member with a heat-sensitive medical condition.
