About this resource
This initiative encourages community involvement and self-reliance for adults with developmental disabilities and epilepsy. Participants take part in volunteer activities, recreational events, and acquire essential life skills such as banking, time management, shopping, and personal hygiene. Intake Procedure: Clients are asked to contact the agency for more details.
Fees: Individuals eligible for CR's, IRA's, and OMRDD Family Care can benefit from waivers, as the program is funded by Medicaid.
Who can use this
- Adults aged 21 and older with developmental disabilities and/or epilepsy residing in Nassau or Suffolk counties.
