This organization acts as an advocate for veterans, assisting them with compensation, pension, education and training, vocational rehabilitation, and additional benefits for survivors, burial, and hospital care. It offers complimentary transportation for veterans to the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital or VA health clinic located in East Meadow. Additionally, the VSA provides returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan with guidance on the GI Bill, job opportunities, VA claims, and referrals.
