About this resource
LI Cares provides a food pantry aimed at Veterans, active military personnel, their families, and individuals in need. They organize Military Appreciation Tuesdays in Huntington Station, Lindenhurst, and Freeport, allowing veterans and their families to access food, personal care items, household supplies, pet food, and educational materials. Additionally, veterans can receive information and resources related to special benefits. LI Cares also runs a Mobile Pantry that delivers healthy groceries to homebound or disabled veterans who cannot reach local pantries.
