City Clerk

The City Clerk oversees the issuance of marriage licenses for New York State and the documentation of birth, marriage, and death certificates in Glen Cove, as mandated by state law. Additionally, the City Clerk provides permits for yard/garage sales, racing and wagering activities, bingo, raffles, block parties, and dog licenses within Glen Cove. The office also keeps records of all City Council meeting minutes and offers copies of zoning books and maps for sale. Furthermore, the City Clerk is responsible for managing all Freedom of Information Law (F.O.I.L.) requests and any claims made against the City of Glen Cove.
