Who can use this
- Eligibility for placements is managed by the Suffolk County Department of Social Services, and access to Emergency Housing for Homeless Persons requires a referral from a DSS office or hotline. For Nassau County, contact (516) 227-8519 or the emergency number at (516) 573-8626. For Suffolk County, call (631) 854-9517 or the emergency number at (631) 854-9100. If not eligible for DSS services, reach out to the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless at (631) 464-4314.
