Who can use this
- Women living in Suffolk County who are referred by the Department of Social Services (DSS). Access to all Emergency Housing for Homeless Persons requires a referral from a DSS office or hotline. For Nassau County, call (516)227-8519 or the emergency number at (516)573-8626. For Suffolk County, reach out at (631)854-9517 or the emergency line at (631)854-9100. If ineligible for DSS services, contact the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless at (631)464-4314.
