During the COVID pandemic, the EOC switchboard operates part-time from 7:30 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Friday, and does not have a voicemail option. If you cannot reach a staff member, please call back during these hours. The program offers a wide range of year-round activities, such as participation in local youth councils and a County-wide youth council. Summer initiatives include youth employment, leisure, and cultural activities. Additional offerings encompass a Martial Arts Program, career exploration opportunities, the annual Martin Luther King Scholarship for deserving students, and the Kearse Soccer Clinic. Year-round individual and family counseling is available, along with tutorial and homework support, as well as workshops focused on substance abuse prevention, underage drinking, teenage pregnancy, and HIV/AIDS.
