About this resource
This initiative creates a secure and monitored environment for at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 17 during after-school hours. It includes assistance with homework, crisis counseling, and provides information and referrals. Involvement from parents is encouraged. Additionally, it features recreational options such as games, dance classes, movies, and video games. The program also conducts prevention workshops addressing issues like substance abuse, gang participation, and teenage pregnancy.
