About this resource
This initiative provides vocational training aimed at individuals with disabilities, focusing on enhancing their independence and integration into the community, along with competitive job placement opportunities. Participants prepare and deliver hot meals using a mobile unit from TRI to individuals in need residing in supported housing. Documentation of disability and parental consent is necessary for participants under 18 years of age.
Intake Procedure: Clients are encouraged to call the agency for further information.
Fees: No cost involved.
Who can use this
- Residents of Nassau/Suffolk aged 16 and older with a learning or emotional disability.
