The Life Enrichment Center At Oyster Bay

This initiative delivers a range of activities and services tailored for individuals aged 60 and above from the Villages of Oyster Bay, East Norwich, Bayville, Locust Valley, Brookville, Oyster Bay Cove, Mill Neck, Muttontown, Matinecock, and nearby areas. The offerings encompass extensive social services, meal provisions, a food pantry for those who qualify, a used clothing shop, transportation assistance, referrals for home care workers, fitness and exercise classes, workout sessions with exercise equipment, computer courses, and a five-day-a-week adult day service program designed for frail elderly individuals. Seniors have opportunities to engage in advocacy, bible study, bingo, dances, nutrition counseling, trips, tours, and volunteer work, along with receiving information and referrals to additional services. Lunch is served at the Senior Center from Monday to Friday, and adult day services are also available during the same days.
