About this resource
This initiative encourages social engagement to enhance specific skills related to disabilities and motivates individuals to advocate for themselves. It offers referrals to respite and recreational programs, as well as support groups for siblings of those with disabilities. Additionally, a mental health program delivers a variety of psychotherapeutic services tailored for individuals with unique needs, including those who are physically and developmentally disabled. The approach encompasses individual, family, and group counseling, advocacy, tutoring, social skills training, and socialization.
