About this resource
This initiative provides a range of support services for veterans, including outreach and educational efforts directed at both providers and individuals across New York State. It offers evaluations for VA benefit eligibility, legal guidance, and representation concerning discharge status upgrades, particularly for those related to sexual orientation. Additionally, it includes case management support, programs tailored for older LGBTQ+ veterans, 'Know Your Rights' resources, and support groups aimed at older LGBTQ+ veterans, as well as efforts to restore equal rights to these individuals.
To initiate services, individuals can reach out via phone or email.
There are no fees associated with these services.

- Individuals must be at least 50 years old, veterans, and residents of the served area.
