Veterans Crisis Line

This is a free and confidential resource that operates nationwide, accessible 24/7, aimed at linking Veterans in distress and their loved ones with specially trained crisis responders. Enrollment in VA benefits or health care is not a prerequisite for accessing crisis support. The Veterans Crisis Line responders assist veterans in navigating their crises and subsequently refer them to appropriate services, whether at a local VA medical center or within the community. A local suicide prevention coordinator (SPC) will follow up the next business day. Additionally, active-duty service members and their families can receive help through the Military Crisis Line; refer to the Intake section for further information. ##Veteran##
