About this resource
Women's Maternity Services encompass care prior to pregnancy, prenatal support, The Family Birth Place, and birthing suites, along with family education classes tailored for expectant parents. Classes are regularly scheduled throughout the year, available as a five-part evening series or a one-day session. Sibling Preparation: The special monthly class "Let's Celebrate Big Brother-Big Sister" assists children aged 3-10 in grasping the arrival of a new sibling. Postpartum Breastfeeding Classes and Counseling cover essential topics such as the initial weeks of breastfeeding, milk expression and storage, nutrition, weight management, and transitioning back to work, with babies welcome to attend.
