Independent Living Of Niagara County - Ilnc - Niagara Falls

The organization focuses on educating, empowering, and advocating for individuals with disabilities in Niagara County. It offers a range of services including peer support, information and referral, advocacy, transition assistance, and peer services for those with functional limitations. The organization provides numerous programs and resources such as Deaf Services, Medicaid Application Assistance, Independent Living Skills training, Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services (CDPAS), and support for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and other benefits for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, there is a medical loan closet available. The Addict 2 Addict (A2A) program features a peer-led team dedicated to assisting individuals with substance use disorders and their families. Peers, who are either in recovery or have loved ones with substance use disorders, share their experiences and offer guidance, advocacy, and Peer Counseling to help individuals take their initial steps toward recovery. This team is accessible 24/7 and can be contacted at 716-498-4333, with responses provided within 24 hours.

Intake Procedure: Individuals can call or visit in person. For Anger Management, a call is required to join the waitlist.
