This initiative delivers face-to-face crisis intervention and client stabilization services aimed at redirecting non-lethal individuals away from the county's psychiatric emergency departments, while also assisting in connecting them to mental health resources. Services offered include a crisis hotline, mental health evaluations, crisis de-escalation and debriefing, linkage and follow-up to services, alerts for identifying those at heightened risk, and coordination with schools, medical and mental health providers, and other agencies to facilitate crisis intervention and monitor at-risk clients. Additionally, it provides Open Access, a 24/7 response for individuals struggling with addiction.
