About this resource
This initiative assists older adults aged 60 and over who do not qualify for Medicaid, along with their families, in delaying or preventing expensive and early admissions to nursing homes. The services provided encompass case management and non-medical supportive options, which may include assistance with light housekeeping, personal care, and respite services. Additionally, a consumer-directed model allows care recipients to hire individuals they are familiar with for their care needs.
