Family Counseling Service Of The Finger Lakes

This organization creates a welcoming environment for individuals and families, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. It provides individual and group support, including counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families, assistance in locating gender-affirming care, help with DASA (Dignity for All Students Act) and discrimination issues, educational services, name change support, domestic violence assistance, and YANA (You Are Not Alone), a peer-led support group for LGBTQ+ youth. The Transgender & Gender Expansive Coalition of the Finger Lakes and Haven, which caters to LGBTQ+-identifying adults in a more casual setting, aim to foster community connections. Square One is also part of the offerings.
