About this resource
This program provides residential living arrangements along with individualized support to help enhance independence in essential life skills such as cooking, shopping, and banking. It creates an environment that prioritizes task-oriented activities and the development of social skills. Additionally, it offers direct technical assistance to individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors and provides counseling to participants or their families to address community integration issues. Adaptations to living spaces are also made to foster independence and ensure safety.
