About this resource

Healthy Kids is a collaborative initiative between Samaritan Hospital and the Rensselaer County Department of Social Services, designed as a distinctive home visitation program. Participation is voluntary and free of charge. Family support workers offer various services, such as education on childbirth, infant care and development, family planning resources, help with transportation, meal planning, and connections to community organizations.
