About this resource
The Cohoes Family Care MOMS Program serves as an educational initiative for expectant mothers. It includes pregnancy testing, help with Medicaid application processes, and access to prenatal and primary healthcare. Additionally, the program offers complimentary childbirth and breastfeeding classes, along with education on pregnancy and infant care. Referrals to local community resources, such as WIC and the Department of Health, are also available. Furthermore, crisis counseling for issues like domestic violence, child abuse, and mental health is provided.
