It operates as a licensed adult home, which ensures long-term residential care with round-the-clock supervision and a comprehensive array of services, including meals, housekeeping, personal care, and social activities. The New York State Health Department oversees the licensing and regulation of adult homes. Enriched housing programs provide seniors with long-term care in apartment-style settings that resemble independent living, along with additional services like meals, housekeeping, social activities, and some personal care.
