This program extends health insurance coverage to individuals aged 65 and above, those who have been receiving Social Security disability benefits for at least 24 consecutive months, and insured workers and their dependents. It also issues new or replacement Social Security numbers and cards. Benefits are available for disabled workers under Full Retirement Age, their dependents, and survivors of insured workers, including widows or widowers aged 60 and older, those caring for entitled children aged 16 and younger, and widows between 50 and 60 who meet specific disability criteria. Monthly payments are provided to disabled adults and children with limited income and resources, and benefits are also available to individuals aged 65 and older without disabilities. The program connects individuals receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) with complimentary employment services.
