Family Counseling Service Of The Finger Lakes

This initiative creates a welcoming environment for individuals and families, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. It provides individual and support groups, including counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families, assistance in locating gender-affirming care, and help with DASA (Dignity for All Students Act) and discrimination issues. Additionally, it offers educational services, support for name changes, domestic violence assistance, and YANA (You Are Not Alone), a peer-led support group for LGBTQ+ youth. The Transgender & Gender Expansive Coalition of the Finger Lakes and Haven, which caters to LGBTQ+-identifying adults in a less formal setting, also focus on community building. Intake is available through walking in or calling for information, and services are provided at no cost.
