About this resource
The program offers clinics for immunizations for both adults and children. It includes a Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program and an Expectant Parents Health Guide that assists newborns and their parents through support and home visits. Additionally, it provides testing and treatment for tuberculosis and STDs, as well as an Early Intervention Program for infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities. The program also focuses on public health emergency preparedness, COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, and environmental health services such as rabies control, household hazardous waste management, water safety testing, and inspections for restaurants and children's camps. Health education initiatives cover tobacco prevention, injury prevention through helmet programs, dental health education, and overall wellness promotion. Intake is managed by a phone call for more information, with fees adjusted according to income.
Who can use this
- Immunizations are available for individuals from 2 months to adulthood, while the Early Intervention Program serves children under 3 years suspected of developmental delays or disabilities, and the Pre-School Program caters to those aged 3 to 5 with similar needs.
