About this resource
This initiative provides temporary assistance and services to individuals and families with low income, aiming to promote self-sufficiency. It includes Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) or Family Assistance, Safety Net Assistance for single individuals or childless couples, as well as employment and food stamp benefits. Additionally, low-income families can access child care subsidies to help cover child care costs while they work, with the option to use a registered or informal provider, including relatives. Reports of public assistance abuse are accepted.
