About this resource
This initiative provides free individual and small group literacy tutoring for adult ESOL learners and those seeking basic literacy skills. It actively recruits and trains volunteer tutors and operates five regional offices across Suffolk County located in public libraries: Amityville, Huntington (Huntington Station Branch), Mastics-Moriches-Shirley, Middle Country, Riverhead, and the Adult Literacy Center at Stony Brook.
