This service provides a range of support including information and referrals, an emergency food pantry, financial assistance, informal counseling, transportation, clothing, an AIDS ministry, employment referrals, Rainbows for All God's Children, advocacy, crisis intervention, and substance abuse counseling.
Intake Procedure: Proof of residency is required.
Fees: There are no fees, with a sliding scale for assistance based on individual needs.
Who can use this
- Walk-ins are welcome, and individuals may need to provide proof of income and residency during the intake process; those without income or permanent residency will still receive assistance. This service is available to residents of Islip, East Islip, and Great River.
