Town Of Brookhaven Division Of Women's Services

This initiative provides employment-related clothing to women from low-income backgrounds who are in search of jobs. Participants are referred to the program by various agencies that address women's issues, including job training programs, domestic violence support, and programs for incarcerated women. Each participant receives personalized assistance by appointment only. The program welcomes donations of new or gently used clothing from individuals, organizations, and businesses, provided the items are in excellent condition, cleaned, and ideally hung. A Professional Women's Group (PWG) is available for women who have successfully completed the program and are now employed. Donations of women's business attire and accessories like handbags, scarves, and jewelry are encouraged. For clothing or monetary donations, please call 631-451-9127.
