Department Of Special Education

This initiative offers a comprehensive array of specialized programs and services tailored to the varied needs of students with disabilities, ranging from ages 5 to 21. Instruction is available in Academic and Learning Centers, as well as within several component district facilities. Students enrolled in Eastern Suffolk BOCES are afforded opportunities for inclusion in general education classes, specialized subjects, and school-wide activities, all while receiving assistance from BOCES staff. The programs are committed to continually enhancing services to help each student reach their full potential for a fulfilling life.
