Peconic Bay Medical Center

The Caregivers Center offers complimentary support aimed at assisting caregivers. This facility provides easy access to information, a place to unwind, recharge, and regain energy, all at no cost. Visitors can take a break, whether for a few minutes or an hour, engage in conversations, share experiences with fellow caregivers, or consult with a Licensed Social Worker for guidance. Additionally, caregivers can participate in free support groups, all led by a Licensed Social Worker, which convene at Peconic Bay Medical Center. These groups are open to everyone and include options such as Family Caregiver support groups, in-person sessions for caregivers of individuals with dementia and memory issues, general caregiver support groups, and bereavement support groups for family caregivers.
