About this resource
The Stork Co-op collects and distributes new and gently used clothing, gear, and care items for pregnancy, babies, and postpartum needs on the East End of Long Island. They are excited to collaborate with Suffolk County’s Smart Start Suffolk Initiative and the NYS Council on Children and Families to offer the Baby Bundle to local residents. Each Baby Bundle is given to new parents (including those who have adopted or are fostering) in a reusable tote bag featuring 'Talking is Teaching' messages that promote interaction through talking, reading, and singing with children. The bundle includes various books, brochures, and resources to support families.
Intake Procedure: Fill out the Google Request Form online.
Fees: Clients are advised to call for specific fee information.
Who can use this
- Provides support to communities in need within Riverhead, Southold, Shelter Island, Southampton, and East Hampton townships.
