About this resource
This center serves as a Diagnostic and Treatment facility for primary oral health care in Suffolk County. In this clinical teaching environment, skilled students and postgraduate residents deliver care under the supervision of faculty members. A full spectrum of dental services is provided, including Dental Anesthesiology, Endodontics, General Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontology, and Prosthodontics. The center also offers specialized care for anxious patients and those with disabilities. New adult patients are required to undergo a screening evaluation before receiving treatment at the Dental Care Center. To schedule an initial screening, call (631) 632-8989. For children under 17, contact the Pediatric Dentistry Program at (631) 632-8967. For Orthodontic Program screenings, please call (631) 632-8906.
