The program focuses on evaluating and treating children aged 5-13 years in an inpatient environment for emotional and behavioral challenges, utilizing short-term stays of 1 to 12 weeks. Discharge planning encompasses arrangements for school placement, outpatient follow-up, and family support. Additionally, it offers outpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents, and families, including medical assessments for behavioral disorders, psychiatric evaluations for schools, preschool assessments, and forensic evaluations for a range of externalizing disorders such as affective disorders, hyperactivity, attention issues, impulsivity, conduct problems, as well as affective disorders like depression and mania, along with developmental and language disorders.
