About this resource
The program provides educational services to individuals under 21 years old at the Riverhead and Yaphank Correctional Facilities, requiring a minimum of 15 hours per week to help students prepare for TASC™ or Regents exams. Additional offerings include tutoring, remedial education, English as a New Language (ENL), Career and Technical Education, as well as Career/Life Planning and anger management. The curriculum aims to equip students with the necessary skills to earn a Regents, Local, or High School Equivalency Diploma, integrating contextual learning and career readiness into everyday lessons.
