About this resource

This program offers peer advocates who support individuals experiencing mental health challenges or developmental disabilities in setting personal goals and fostering greater independence. Services include peer counseling that covers vocational support, budgeting, self-advocacy, and training in interpersonal and independent living skills. Additionally, it offers benefits guidance to assist clients in navigating public assistance and Social Security, as well as help with the Medicaid Buy-in program, including form completion and understanding work incentive programs.
