Tompkins County Office For The Aging (Cofa)

GoGoGrandparent supports older adults and people with disabilities in remaining independent in their homes for as long as possible. By partnering with on-demand services, GoGo facilitates transportation, meal delivery, grocery shopping, medication delivery, and additional support for its clients. All GoGo Grandparent drivers undergo thorough background checks and screening covering the past seven years. Participants must reside in Tompkins County and be at least 60 years old. The Office for the Aging subsidizes membership (subject to funding availability) and can provide up to six one-way trips or three round trips each month through this initiative. To get started, individuals should contact the Office for the Aging to register, and once approved, they can reach out to the GoGo Grandparent hotline to arrange rides.
