Family Counseling Service Of The Finger Lakes

This organization creates a welcoming environment for individuals and families, irrespective of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. It provides individual and group support, including counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families, assistance in locating gender-affirming care, and help with issues related to the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) and discrimination. Additionally, it offers educational sessions, support with name changes, domestic violence assistance, and YANA (You Are Not Alone), a peer-led support group for LGBTQ+ youth. The Transgender & Gender Expansive Coalition of the Finger Lakes and Haven, which caters to LGBTQ+-identifying adults in a more informal setting, are also part of the services.
