About this resource
This federal housing assistance initiative caters to low-income individuals and families who are US citizens or possess eligible immigration status. As of 11/01/22, the Section 8 waiting list remains closed. Additionally, the program supports residents who qualify for affordable housing and assistance through the Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption (SCRIE).
