About this resource
These programs equip individuals with disabilities with essential daily living skills, help them adapt to real or simulated life situations, and teach them how to use assistive devices, specialized equipment, and support from specialized assistants. Over time, this training empowers individuals to navigate their communities, achieve independence, and take charge of their health through self-care and access to medical services.
