About this resource
This program provides in-home care services that encompass housekeeping, personal assistance, laundry, shopping, transportation, and meal preparation and delivery. It also includes adult day services, which are community-based programs that offer support for part of the day. Registered nurse services are available for one-time or periodic assessments, service planning, medication oversight, provider training, and education. Additionally, case management and options counseling are offered to aid individuals in making informed decisions about services based on their strengths, needs, and preferences. The number of service hours per individual is determined by their assessed needs and available funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours per month. Importantly, benefits will not be subject to estate recovery.
