About this resource
This initiative aims to enhance understanding and effective communication skills between individuals with developmental disabilities and others. It provides support in obtaining an identification card that details a person's diagnosis, address, advocate contacts, behavioral traits, communication accommodations, and a sample topic for stress relief. Participants must attend a training session to practice the process with trained professionals.
Intake Procedure: Contact via phone, email, or visit the website for details.
Travel/Location: Located west of 9th Street on Beca Avenue, at the corner of 10th Street and Beca Avenue. Route 2 of the City Transit System stops on 9th Street close to Beca Avenue.
Fees: No charges apply.
