Mary'S River Gleaners

Members collect food from local fields and orchards, as well as non-food items donated by stores and markets. The distribution of food occurs weekly, facilitated by the active involvement of the members. Incontinence supplies are provided, and firewood for heating is often available. Donations of hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body wash are also welcomed.

Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call for details. An application must be filled out.

Fees: There is an annual fee of $30 and a requirement of 8 hours of volunteer work each month. No one is denied service due to financial constraints, and volunteer hours are mandatory unless a disability prevents participation.
